Return of the slayer

                                                       Prologue: Old days




I was riding my skateboard to the graveyard to meet my friend for patrol tonight when a bright flash erupted from the sky above the graveyard.

Knowing that something big was going down I pushed harder on the gravelly hill that led down to the graveyard pulling my sword from it’s hilt.

“Harris I thought I told you to stop bullying my friends.” I said to the demon coldly as he held my friends limp form in his hands. He looked at with fake sadness sighing “I thought seeing your brother die would break you, but I guess I was wrong.”practically  spitting the last bit as if it were poison.

Suddenly pieces of the fateful night came back to and I felt tears trying to escape my eyes. Holding them in I threw my weapon at him aiming for his neck. But he saw my clever move and swiftly turned around to grab the hilt of it, unfortunately I was holding the other end as he tugged the chain and whipped me against a tree. I slumped against the trunk my vision already becoming  foggy after one hit as I saw him lean down next to me. “You know I was hoping it wouldn’t have to come to this” He said although to me it sounded like he was under water.

He reaches into his back pocket and removes a knife. I am afraid of what is coming next, The next few seconds are like we are in molasses he touches the tip of knife to my jugular and pushes it in as my vision fades I know I will see him in hell…. Of will I?

It had been a few days we had pushed that button in Mike’s head. I sure missed the others I wonder where they are. I hope Mike’s ok. Ugh! I am so bored just floating here in non-existence.
